ARBORFIELD OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION 52nd
  REUNION.
ALREWAS - Friday 17th July to Sunday 19th
  July 2015 inclusive.
  The following
report contributed by Trevor STUBBERFIELD (52A) Photographic
contributions as attributed. Photos included in this report remain the Copyright
© of Max WARWICK 49B (MW) and Trevor
STUBBERFIELD 52A (TS) and should not be copied without the
express permission of the owners. ________________________________________________________________________________     Preamble Readers of previous reunion
reports, here on the 49ers web site, will know that this diary of the 52nd Arborfield Old Boy’s Association Reunion is not official,
nor is it formal or factual.  It’s just
one Old Boy’s personal view of the weekend, written for friends who couldn’t
attend, to give them a feeling of the occasion.  More actual and factual reports will be
found on the Arborfield Old Boys Association Web Site, and in the AOBA
magazine OBAN, along with many more photographs. Here would be a good place to
acknowledge all the hard work put in by the members of the AOBA Committee,
without which these reunions just wouldn’t happen and to record a well deserved vote of thanks. A special vote of thanks goes
to September 49er Max Warwick.  For
many years now, Max has been recording events relating to Arborfield
and the A.O.B.A.  He makes his
photographs freely available to us all so that, here on the 49ers site, we
can expand our archive of Arborfield life which is
available to anybody who has an interest in it. On this web site the principle
we try to stick to is ‘A photo with no information remains just a photo, but
a photo with the who, when, where and why added
becomes a record of our life at Arborfield’.  In the following presentation we have the
when, where and why elements but we need the names and their intakes.  If you can help, please contact The Editor with any
information you can add, with the photo number it applies to.  It will be much appreciated in the years to
  come. Unfortunately, this year the
  review is again somewhat truncated.
Mother nature and father time have combined to restrict coverage of
just the Saturday Parade and the Drum Head Service.  ‘The Editor’ had to cut short his visit, so
much of the added information is hearsay.
The story is mainly told by the photographs.  Should any information be forthcoming from
contributors, the article will be updated with the new material on a rolling
  basis.
