Doug lives some 5 hours drive to the north of me in Tumbi Umbi and as he was in my neck of the woods we decided to have a few hours together. It’s the first time we’ve seen each other since passing out from Arborfield. I hope to catch up with him in the new year when we go camping.

at the

National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.

At the Drum Head Service, which was part of the

53rd. Arborfield Old Boys Association Reunion,

a Cross of Remembrance was laid for

Thomas ‘Tom’ Spurs 53B.
