Photograph taken in August 1956 at Woolwich when the Medical
and Dental Course was held at The Rotunda and The Herbert Hospital. Front Left is the instructor, Bill Wakely
(Deceased), who also instructed at SEE and the Arborfield Army
Apprentices School.
Top Centre is Tin Nyunt, a Burmese lad who was an
apprentice at Arborfield, Intake 52B.
He stands next to Jim Baulf.
Front Right is Errol Flynn (Deceased), a student who
later became an instructor.
Front Centre, the Jordanian is Anton Hazboun who was
really a Chief Clerk in the Jordan Army but, because he spoke English, he was
sent on this course. Errol and I
spent most nights teaching him basic electrics and electronics.
