This turned up at a Bedford Drivers Club meeting held at the Vauxhall Motors Engineering Centre in Luton.  The date escapes me.

 

1939 Bedford MW 15cwt 4 X 2

 

This is the same model used for driving instruction at Arborfield, but this one has the luxury of metal doors, albeit with plastic windows, and full-size windscreen glass instead of small wind deflectors.
