1980: Retired to play with my toys (see hobbies). Other activities include running around sorting out problems on a few properties I own.

1980: Sailed across the Atlantic in a 25-footer and stayed in the West Indies.

1981: Drove across the USA.

1994: Journey by rail from Lewes, Sussex to Hong Kong, returning to UK by air from Nepal.

 

Hobbies: Old motorbikes, cars, valve radios, and 16mm films.
