Saturday.

Looking out of the window on Saturday morning the signs were not good, overcast and heavy rain falling. Shades of the 2007 reunion when Arborfield was cut off by floodwater. But, despite all the problems, we had the parade that year and hopefully this year would be the same. Setting off for the camp the rain eased and the sun broke through, a much better outlook. No problems accessing the camp and I made my way to the WOs & SGTs mess to meet up with a few friends before setting off back through the gates and into Rowcroft Lines, our spiritual homeland. At the top of the square, behind the accommodation block the troops gathered.

The Muster or first things first.
