Nigel Moore, the inspecting officer, was giving me a pseudo bollicking for my outrageous outfit on parade. To top it
all, the next guy inspecting me was the AOBA Chairman, Peter Gibson, who said
"Morton, are you making a fashion statement here?" Frankly, I got
fed up with wearing suits, bowler hats and/or blazers - but when you are
nearly 70, who gives a toss! Certainly brought a
laugh from all and sundry, including my mate Arthur Fenlon
on my left. 51B for ever!
