The mention of Rodeos jogged the old grey matter in regard to two particular episodes. The first was the time that I, ‘Lofty’ THORNTON and others, were given half-a-dozen of these by the C.O. Colonel PERCIVAL. The second was in regard to me, George MATHER and (Bert) TURNER. We tried to get a tipsy MATHER past the Guardroom.
